We had fun with jarede & Sophie making pumpkins for Halloween. The fall colors have been beautiful around the Island this year - almost like Ontario (but very few red's)

Col's surprise birthday dinner

Jessica Friesen (12) cooked a scrumptious dinner and a beautiful birthday cake for Colleen - all while we were out shopping. What a surprised birthday girl she was. Jessica was fundraising so she and her team can dance at the Olympics.

day trip to West Coast (Uclulet & Tofino)

Sister Colleen and Dad and Colleen & I spent a long day of driving from Duncan to the West Coast on Friday and enjoyed a wonderful sunny day at the beach (not a common happening). What a beautiful sight.
